Arie Haenel is a Principal Security Researcher at Intel Corporation, leading the Offensive Security Research team within the Intel Product Assurance & Security Group since July 2017. In addition to this role, Arie has served as an External Lecturer at Lev Academic Center since October 2013, teaching Software Security and Applied Cryptography, co-creating the Computer Security curriculum, and mentoring students on projects, often in collaboration with industry and military. Prior experience includes a Technical Leader II position at Cisco, focusing on enterprise data protection and DRM security mechanisms, as well as various roles at NDS Limited from 1998 to 2013, where Arie contributed to software development, security engineering, and team leadership. Arie began a PhD at Télécom SudParis in 2018 and holds an MBA from Université de Poitiers and a BSc in Computer Science from Jerusalem College of Technology.
