Ben Farbowitz

Ben Farbowitz is currently the Director of Finance at Lev. Prior to this, they held Senior Manager Corporate Finance position at The Domain Companies from November 2019 to October 2021. Before that, they were with KPMG from September 2015 to January 2019 as a Manager in their Deal Advisory group.

At KPMG, Ben managed buy-side and sell-side merger and acquisition transactions providing financial due diligence assistance to real estate clients including hotel, office, multifamily, retail and data centers, at the property or entity level. This involved performing financial analysis on company financial data with a key focus on historical and projected operating trends, quality of earnings, working capital considerations, net debt, potential liabilities, and commitments / contingencies, with a focus on valuation. Ben also assessed targets financial model and financial projections against market research and industry trends.

Ben reported to client executives and other stakeholders by drafting tailored presentations which identify key findings including, but not limited to, financial performance trends, normalized earnings, working capital considerations, and cost savings. Ben also facilitated ongoing correspondence with internal teams and outside third parties including client’s investment bankers and legal counsel to aid deal process. Furthermore, they supervised activities of on shore and off shore staff to improve technical knowledge through education and training.

Ben Farbowitz has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University at Buffalo School of Management, The State University of New York. Ben is also certified from the New York State Education Department as a Certified Public Accountant.
