Amy V.

Amy V. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Amy started their career as an Office Assistant at High Plains Rehabilitation in 2009, where they provided technical support and scheduled appointments.

In 2016, Amy became an Accounts and Administration Executive at Genesis Technologies, Inc. Here, they oversaw all accounting for the company, trained and supervised a small team, and resolved accounting issues with outside vendor contacts.

Amy's next role was as a Participant at Recurse Center in 2019. During this three-month self-directed programming retreat, they worked on data analytics projects using Python and analyzed trends in athletes' gender, country of origin, and body composition in different sports over time.

Later in 2019, Amy joined Revel as a Data Analyst. Amy developed and managed data engineering code, created new ETL pipelines to fetch and merge data from third-party APIs, and established version control practices for their team using git and git-crypt. Amy also optimized a cronjob's runtime from 2 minutes down to approximately 15 seconds to meet business requirements.

Most recently, in 2022, Amy joined Level as a Data Analyst.

Amy V. attended The University of Texas at Austin, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in French Studies in 2014.
