Vicki Lusk, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

Vicki Lusk, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has extensive experience in the human resources field. Vicki began their career in 1999 as the Manager of Animal Control and Codes at Doña Ana County. In 2002, they became the Chapter President of Southern New Mexico SHRM. From 2005 to 2014, they held various positions including President of New Mexico West Texas, Chapter President of IPMA-HR, and Director of SHRM NM State Council. In 2009, they took on the role of Silver Ambassador Unit Leader at Avon Cosmetics. In 2019, they became the Human Resources Director and Human Resources Specialist at La Casa, Inc. Most recently, in 2021, they were an Employee Benefits Business Development Specialist at HUB International and is currently a Business Mentor at LevelNext.

Vicki Lusk has a long and varied educational history. Vicki obtained their Diploma from Roswell High School in 1977, followed by a period of study at New Mexico State University between 1981 and 1983. Vicki then went on to complete a Business Management course at the University of Phoenix in 2002. Additionally, Lusk has obtained several certifications, including the Employing Abilities at Work Certificate from the SHRM Foundation in 2022, the SHRM-SCP from SHRM in 2015, the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR\u00ae) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 2010, and the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in 2015. Finally, they also obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 2016.
