Prasanthan Balakrishnan

Prasanthan Balakrishnan has over 24 years of work experience in the hospitality industry. Prasanthan is currently the Co-Founder of LEVEN, a new lifestyle hotel concept in Manchester. Prior to this, they worked as the Director at WellBrook Hospitality, where they provided expertise in finance, general management, operations, and culture to create guest-centric and profitable hospitality experiences. Before that, Prasanthan served as the Hotels Finance Director UK and Europe at Ennismore, and also as the Financial Controller for Hotels and Restaurants. Prasanthan began their career in 1997 as a Senior Finance Manager at Queensway Group.

Prasanthan Balakrishnan completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Brighton, from 1994 to 1997. Prasanthan obtained the FCCA (Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant) certification from ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in September 2009.
