Laurent Cevey

Technical Key Account Manager at Levitronix

Laurent Cevey has a wealth of work experience. Laurent began their career in 2008 as a part-time research assistant at the Laboratory of Quantum Magnetism at EPFL. In 2009, they worked as a researcher at the Institute of Physics & Beijing National Lab for Condensed Matter Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, where they conducted a Master thesis on high temperature superconductors. In 2010, they were an Internee at the Science & Education/Culture sections of the Embassy of Switzerland in China, covering the latest Science, Technology and Health developments and supporting Swiss Education in China. In 2011, Laurent worked as a Researcher at HKUST, where they specialized in thermodynamic probes and conducted research projects on heat capacity and magnetization of the cubic helimagnet FeGe. Finally, from 2013 to present, they have been a Technical Key Account Manager, Application Manager and Application Engineer at LEVITRONIX.

Laurent Cevey's education history includes attending Tsinghua University from 2009 to 2010 as an exchange student in the Physics Department, completing a Master thesis at Beijing Institute of Physics (Chinese Academy of Science) from 2009 to 2010 in Physics, obtaining a Bachelor & Master from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2005 to 2010 in Physics, and attending The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from 2007 to 2008 as an exchange student in Physics.
