Carrie Wolinetz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in science policy and federal relations. Currently serving as Principal at Lewis-Burke Associates LLC since May 2023, Carrie previously held the position of Senior Advisor to the NIH Director at The National Institutes of Health from October 2022 to May 2023. Prior roles include Deputy Director for Health & Life Sciences at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and acting Chief of Staff at the National Institutes of Health. With a long tenure at Georgetown University as an Adjunct Associate Professor, as well as significant positions at the Association of American Universities and the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology, Carrie's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Animal Science from Penn State University and a B.S. with honors in Animal Science from Cornell University.
