Reed Skaggs

Reed Skaggs is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategy and operations within government and research sectors. Currently serving as an Associate at Lewis-Burke Associates LLC since January 2015, Reed previously held the title of Assistant Director at the White House / Executive Office of the President from January 2012 to January 2015, where responsibilities included oversight of science and technology policy related to national security and interagency policy development to counter improvised explosive devices. Earlier in Reed's career, from February 2009 to January 2011, management of basic and applied research programs at the U.S. Army Research Laboratory was undertaken, focusing on advanced technologies for military applications. Reed earned a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Hampden-Sydney College.
