Lewis & Clark College
Gary Reiness is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in the field of biology. Since 1994, Gary has served at Lewis and Clark College in various capacities, including Professor of Biology Emeritus, Professor of Biology, Associate Dean for Faculty Development, Associate Dean of the College, Dean of Mathematical and Natural Sciences, and Chair of Biology. Prior to that, Gary held positions at Pomona College from 1981 to 1993, where responsibilities included Associate Dean of Faculty and Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Biology. Earlier in Gary's career, postdoctoral fellowships were completed at the University of California, San Francisco, and Harvard Medical School, following the attainment of a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Columbia University and a BA in Chemistry from The Johns Hopkins University.
