Angelia Martinez

Angelia Martinez, MA, LPC, CRC, currently serves as the Learning Access Coordinator and Adjunct Instructor for the Cornerstone Seminar at Lewis University since November 2016. Prior experience includes roles as an Academic Services Specialist in the Disability Resource Center at Purdue University from July 2012 to November 2016 and as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Labor and Industry from January 2009 to July 2012. Angelia’s earlier roles at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from January 2003 to August 2006 encompassed positions such as Orientation Leader for New Student Programs and Patron Services Supervisor at the Krannert Center for Performing Arts, along with serving as a Teachers Aide for the Language and Cultures of Deaf Communities. Angelia holds a Master of Arts in Communicative Disorders with a focus on Rehabilitation Counseling from Northern Illinois University (2007-2009) and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Science, specializing in Audiology, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2002-2006).
