John Buenger

John Buenger has over 25 years of work experience in various technology leadership roles. John is currently the Executive Director of Technology Infrastructure Services at Lewis University, where they provide senior-level leadership for data/voice network services and data center operations. Prior to joining Lewis University, John served as the Director of Network Services at NorthShore University HealthSystem from 2017 to 2019. John also worked as the Director of Technical Services at Governors State University for nearly two decades. Additionally, John has experience as an Information Technology Manager at Duff & Phelps Investment Management Co. and as a Systems Manager at UChicago Medicine.

John Buenger earned a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from Governors State University, graduating in 2011. John also holds additional certifications including CCNA from Cisco, ITILv3 from EXIN, and MCSE from Microsoft.
