Anieza Gkiokai

Anieza Gkiokai is an experienced scientist specializing in reagent development and molecular diagnostics. Currently serving as a Reagent Development Scientist at LEX Diagnostics since May 2022, Anieza focuses on creating high-quality RT-PCR reagent systems for point-of-care applications. Previously, Anieza worked at Oncologica UK as a Senior Trainer and Genetic Technologist, where expertise in RNA extraction and NGS methodology was developed. An education background includes a Master of Science in Drug Delivery from Aston University, awarded with Distinction, and a B.Sc/M.Sc Integrated Master's degree in Biology from the University of Ioannina. Relevant research experience includes investigating the role of Scaffold Attachment Factor A in DNA expression at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.
