Rachel Delaney has a diverse background in legal counsel and operations. Rachel is currently the Head of Legal and Operations at Lexer, where they are responsible for establishing the internal legal function, revising policies and procedures, implementing risk management practices, and overseeing information security support. Prior to Lexer, Rachel worked as a Legal Counsel at Aurecon from 2019 to 2021, where they provided legal advice. Rachel also held various roles at Telstra from 2012 to 2019, specializing in products, marketing, technology, and innovation. Rachel started their career as a Lawyer at mdp McDonald Partners Lawyers and Commercial Advisors from 2009 to 2012. Rachel began as a Paralegal at Mallesons Stephen Jaques in 2007 and later became a Solicitor specializing in Banking and Finance.

Rachel Delaney has a strong educational background in both law and performing arts. Rachel completed their Master of Laws (LLM) degree at the University of Melbourne from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree at Monash University from 2001 to 2007. In addition to their legal education, Rachel also pursued a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Honours) degree at Monash University from 2001 to 2003.

Apart from their formal education, Rachel has also acquired additional certifications. Rachel obtained a Certificate of Completion from Asana in June 2022. Furthermore, they are Mental Health First Aid Accredited through Mental Health First Aid® Australia, which they obtained in May 2023.
