Erika Leinonen

Erika Leinonen is a legal professional with extensive experience in privacy, data protection, and information security. Currently serving as Counsel at Lexia Attorneys since September 2021, Erika previously held key positions including Senior Officer at the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman and Legal Counsel at the National Cyber Security Centre Finland. Additional roles include Legal Counsel at The Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities and as a Lawyer at the Copyright Information and Anti-Piracy Centre, along with research experience at the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology. Erika holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Public Law from the University of Tampere and a Master's in Law from the University of Lapland, both complemented by postgraduate studies in technology law at Aalto University.
