Dave Cline

Dave Cline is a seasoned fire service professional with extensive experience in leadership and training. Currently serving as a Professional Services Specialist at Lexipol since August 2022, Cline also holds the position of Fire Chief at Smithville Area Fire Protection District, a role assumed in March 2018 after serving as Deputy Chief from January 2003 to 2018, where responsibilities included fire prevention, training, health and safety, EMS coordination, and managing the volunteer firefighter program. With a background that includes teaching at the Metropolitan Community College-Kansas City Blue River Fire Academy and Environmental Training Services, LLC, Cline has expertise in hazardous materials and rescue operations. Cline's educational achievements include an Executive Fire Officer designation from the National Fire Academy, a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Park University, an Associate of Science in Fire Science from Metropolitan Community College-Blue River, and Paramedic Training from the University of Iowa.
