Martin Coyle

Martin Coyle is a seasoned journalist and editor with extensive experience in financial crime, regulatory affairs, and compliance. Currently serving as a Senior Correspondent at MLex Market Insight since November 2015, Coyle focuses on bribery and corruption issues in the UK and globally. Prior to this role, Coyle held various positions at Thomson Reuters, including Senior Editor, where responsibilities encompassed producing content for a financial and regulatory news service, expert analysis on money laundering and sanctions, and chairing industry panels and webinars. Previous roles include Deputy Editor and Senior Staff Writer at Complinet, as well as Editor/Senior Staff Writer at Lafferty Group, showcasing a strong background in reporting and analysis within the finance and accounting sectors. Coyle holds a BA Hons in Film Studies and Sociology from the University of Kent.
