Tom Sims

Tom Sims is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in leading news organizations. Currently serving as Senior Correspondent at Reuters News Agency since 2017, Tom previously held prominent positions at the New York Times from 2006 to 2015, where Tom was Business Editor for both Asia and Marketplace, and at The Wall Street Journal from 1999 to 2005 as a Staff Correspondent. Tom began his career at Dow Jones Newswires from 1996 to 1999 in a similar role. Tom holds a Master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and a Bachelor's degree from Rice University.
