Nigel Swycher

Nigel Swycher is a seasoned professional in the intellectual property sector, currently serving as a Strategic Advisor at LexisNexis Intellectual Property Solutions since March 2024, focusing on integrating machine learning capabilities into PatentSight+. Nigel has been the Director of Oropo.net since June 2015, dedicated to enhancing the quality of patent ownership data. Prior to these roles, Nigel was the CEO of Cipher from October 2013 to April 2024, where the focus was on providing strategic patent intelligence through machine learning. Nigel's earlier career includes serving as Head of Technology at Olswang and as a Partner at Slaughter and May. Nigel holds a law degree from Durham University and further legal training from Guildford College of Law.
