Jay Thomas

Jay Thomas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data retention, product management, and strategic project leadership within the legal technology sector, specifically at LexisNexis. Currently serving as the Head of Data Retention since January 2020, Jay focuses on compliance with data privacy and regulatory initiatives. Prior to this role, Jay was the Global Head of Decommissioning and led efforts to transition customers from legacy products to the Lexis Advance platform, achieving significant cost savings. Earlier positions include Head of Global New Lexis Product and Sr. Director of Product Planning, where Jay contributed to the development and execution of the New Lexis legal research platform across international markets. Jay holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration, an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice, and a Juris Doctor from The University of Toledo.
