Eric M.

Eric M. has over 13 years of work experience. Eric began their career at Hylant in 2006 as an Applications Developer. In 2008, they joined Sopheon as a Software Engineer, where they guided a team of four junior developers as a tech lead in a .NET Scrum environment, refactored original software, designed features for the flagship product, incorporated the MVVM pattern into new features, built a UI with jQuery, created an infrastructure for localizing the product, learned manual testing best practices, gathered weekly with other leads to agree on coding standards, met with PMs and dev managers, and fixed product defects through monthly service pack releases. In 2013, they joined Four Winds Interactive as a Senior Software Developer and Software Developer, where they developed the front-ends for a cloud-based SaaS product, integrated with Okta for an SSO solution, designed microservices, documented and maintained the REST API, configured Jenkins build jobs, deployed to dev, staging, and demo stacks, tracked each project using Jira tasks, and began to learn serverless architecture. In 2018, they joined Guaranteed Rate as a Senior Software Engineer, where they lead technical discovery and new feature architecture and development, contributed the most GitHub commits and code reviews, and completed the most JIRA user stories and bug fixes. Lastly, in 2019, they joined Lextegrity as an Engineering Manager, Lead Engineer, and Senior Engineer.

Eric M. graduated from The University of Toledo in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Engineering Technology. Eric has also obtained two certifications, a Microsoft certification in Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 obtained in April 2016, and a JavaScript Specialist certification from CIWcertified obtained in January 2012.
