Mathias Ecke

Mathias Ecke has extensive experience in the engineering and laboratory fields. Mathias started their career in 2001 as an Industriemechaniker at Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum GmbH, where they worked until 2004. From 2004 to 2006, they served as a Labortechniker at the same company before being promoted to Manager Laboratory Dry Fore Vacuum in 2006. In this role, they were responsible for 13 employees in various disciplines, as well as equipment, buildings, and infrastructure. In 2016, Mathias joined Leybold as Senior Manager Laboratory and later became the Head of Engineering Dry Pumps in 2017.

Mathias Ecke attended Hans-Böckler-Berufskolleg Deutz from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a degree in Maschinenbau/Entwicklungstechnik as a staatlich geprüfter Techniker. In addition to their formal education, they have acquired two additional certifications. In November 2022, they completed the TOC im Projektmanagement certification from Alkyone Consulting GmbH & Co. KG. Furthermore, in January 2022, they obtained the Forrester Mastering Customer Experience certification from Forrester.
