Lieke de Kock

Lieke de Kock is a seasoned professional in the fields of arts and care, currently engaged as a PhD candidate at Leyden Academy on Vitality and Ageing, focusing on participatory action research with older individuals across the Netherlands. Prior experience includes roles as an Activities Therapist at Ziekenhuis Gelderse Vallei, where Lieke organized activities for elderly patients, and as a Carer at De Herbergier, working with individuals with dementia. Additional contributions encompass positions such as Office and Projects Assistant at Theater Veder, where Lieke facilitated an international exchange plan, and various project management roles, including managing festival programs for seniors and conducting research on drama sessions for people with dementia. Lieke holds advanced degrees in Applied Theatre from The University of Manchester and Theatre Studies from the University of Surrey, supplemented by a degree in Social Work from Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen.
