Mirjam de Leede-Brunsveld

Mirjam de Leede-Brunsveld is currently a PhD candidate at Leyden Academy on Vitality and Ageing, focusing on collective prevention and health promotion in communities through the role of nursing specialists and community nurses. Since January 2020, Mirjam has served as a project employee at Buurtzorg Nederland, where responsibilities include providing medical and nursing care to vulnerable elderly patients, as well as involvement in innovative projects such as oncology aftercare. Additionally, Mirjam has held a position as a nursing specialist at Buurtzorg Nederland since May 2009, with earlier experience as a community nurse. Previous work includes being an adjunct teacher at CPOV eo - Veenendaal from August 2009 to July 2013. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Advanced Nursing Practice from Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen, a Bachelor’s degree in education from Inholland University, and a nursing education degree from Christelijke Hogeschool Ede.
