Serhiy Vasnyov has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Serhiy started their career in 1999 as a Senior Engineer at Scientific & Production Firm MODUL, where they were involved in the development of new thermoelectric materials and process and quality control management. From 2006 to 2011, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Radboud University, focusing on the development of SEM-assisted Spin Polarized Microscope and investigating nanoparticles creation in artificial hip joints.
In 2011, Serhiy joined ASML as an Application Design Engineer, responsible for overlay modeling and analysis and troubleshooting. Later, they became an Analyst, contributing to TWINSCAN XT Systems Integration and developing software algorithms.
From 2017 to 2020, they worked at Océ - A Canon Company as an Ink System Interaction Engineer. In this role, they designed requirements, developed software, and conducted ink testing and analysis. Serhiy also contributed to the development of image analysis software for industrial digital printers.
In 2020, Serhiy joined DEMCON as a Senior Mechatronic System Engineer, participating in the development of a plant for the production of medical isotope Tc-99m. Serhiy focused on radiation shielding and mechatronic system concepts.
Currently, Serhiy holds the position of Lead Process Developer at LeydenJar, where they have worked since 2021. Serhiy previously served as a System Architect and was responsible for creating technical principles and requirements for new roll-to-roll PECVD machines for the production of pure silicon battery anodes.

Serhiy Vasnyov received their Master of Science degree in Solid State Physics from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 1995. Serhiy later obtained a Doctor of Natural Sciences degree in Solid State Spectroscopy from Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg in 2004.
