Parag Bhavsar

Parag Bhavsar, Ph.D has a diverse work experience in the field of biology and research. Parag started their career as a Research Assistant at GSK in 2001. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Research Associate at King's College London, conducting research on genes involved in T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Parag then joined THE BRITTONS ACADEMY TRUST in 2012 as a Teacher of Science before moving to Leyton Sixth Form College in 2013. At Leyton Sixth Form College, they held various roles including Teacher of Biology, Biology Coordinator, and currently serves as the Head of Biology.

Parag Bhavsar, Ph.D, has a diverse educational background in biochemistry. Parag began their education journey at Leyton sixth form college from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained their A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths. Following this, Parag attended UCL from 1999 to 2003, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with First Class Honors in Biochemistry.

Motivated to delve deeper into their field of study, Parag continued their education at UCL from 2003 to 2007, where they successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry.

In addition to their academic achievements, Parag Bhavsar has also sought practical certifications to complement their educational background. In February 2017, they obtained an Apple Teacher certification from Apple. Furthermore, they have acquired the qualification of a qualified teacher from the Havering Teacher Training Partnership, although specific dates for this certification are not available.
