Jimisola Laursen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jimisola is currently working as a System Developer, Tech Lead & Scrum Master at LFV since May 2021. Before that, they founded their own company, Jimisola Consulting, in December 2018. Prior to their entrepreneurial venture, they worked as a First Officer at SAS (Scandinavian Airlines) from January 2014 to April 2021. Jimisola also held similar positions as a First Officer at Norwegian Air Shuttle, PrivatAir, and Arik Air Ltd from 2013 to 2011. In addition to their aviation career, they have worked as a Software Developer at Flygprestanda AB and Stickybit AB and as a Staff Engineer at Sony Mobile Communications.

Jimisola Laursen's education history is as follows:

- From 1997 to 2002, they attended Lund University and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science.

- From 2015 to 2017, they studied at the School of Aviation at Lund University and earned a Bachelor of Aeronautical Science (B.Sc.) in Airline Operations.

- In 2007 and 2008, they completed the Airline Transport Pilot Program at the School of Aviation at Lund University, focusing on Airline/Commercial/Professional Pilot and Flight Crew.

- In 2021, they completed a 10-week JavaScript Full Stack program at Campus Mölndal, specializing in Computer Programming.

- Currently, they are pursuing a degree in Agile Project Leader (YH) at IHM Business School, expected to be completed by 2023.

Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including an Examensbevis from IHM Business School, an Excel Essential Training certification from LinkedIn, a GitLab Certified Git Associate certification from GitLab, and participated in several Node Congress Workshops.

In terms of previous certifications, they hold an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) obtained in 2012 and a CX-310-035 Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 Platform 1.4 certification from Sun Microsystems obtained in 2004.
