Kathy Weir Sphr

Kathy Weir, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has extensive experience in human resources and leadership roles. Kathy is currently serving as the Interim VP HR at LG Ad Solutions, where they provide strategic leadership and coaching to drive employee engagement and deliver business results. Prior to this, Kathy was a Senior Human Resources Consultant at hrQ in 2022. From 2017 onwards, they have served as an Advisor at PeopleTech Partners, working with companies like Gritwell, Sayge, and Helpr to drive meaningful change and measurable outcomes. Kathy has also held HR leadership positions at Health IQ, OPEN Health Communications, Double Line, Inc., Adlucent, Sage Environmental Consulting L.P, and Dimensional Fund Advisors. Kathy has expertise in talent management, developing learning solutions, and growing leadership talent for small to medium-sized businesses and non-profits. Kathy's previous clients include Dell Inc., where they designed and delivered curriculum within the global Marketing organization.

Kathy Weir, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from The University of British Columbia. Kathy then went on to pursue their MBA from Southern Methodist University, completing their studies in 2005. Kathy has also obtained additional certifications throughout their career, including the SHRM-SCP from SHRM and the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in October 2021. In December 2013, they completed the Organizational Development Certificate Program offered by Linkage, Inc.
