Moontae Lee

Moontae Lee is an accomplished academic and researcher in the fields of computer science and artificial intelligence, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Information and Decision Sciences department at the University of Illinois at Chicago since August 2018. Lee has been affiliated with LG AI Research's Fundamental Research Laboratory since December 2021. Previous roles include Consulting Professor at Microsoft focused on natural language understanding from December 2019 to June 2021, as well as positions as a Visiting Scholar and Research Intern at Microsoft, engaged in various deep learning and natural language processing projects. Lee holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cornell University, a Master's degree from Stanford University, and a Bachelor's degree from Sogang University.
