Administrative Support Specialist at LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert

Dan Griffin is the current Administrative Support Specialist at LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert. Prior to this, Dan Griffin was the Director at ViewPoint Sales & Marketing from July 2013 to August 2020. In this position, Dan worked closely with the President/CEO in managing all aspects of the company, including marketing strategies, client relations, employee and office operations. Dan was also responsible for developing new business proposals and pitches for in-house PR Agency, Studio PR, achieving 100% of established sales goal. Furthermore, Dan handled all day-to-day account management for PR clients on retainer, including client services, planning and execution of media relations, materials development, product placement, strategic partnerships and collaborations and influencer seeding.

Prior to ViewPoint Sales & Marketing, Dan Griffin was a Consultant for Media Awards at GLAAD from February 2013 to June 2013. Before that, Dan was an Account Director at Maloney & Fox from May 2006 to November 2012. In this role, Dan was responsible for developing and executing integrated communications campaigns on behalf of clients in the lifestyle/luxury goods, beauty/fragrance, retail/fashion/apparel, hospitality/travel/tourism and nonprofit sectors.

Dan Griffin began their career as a Scriptwriter at ABC Television/One Life to Live from March 2000 to May 2005. In this role, Dan wrote original scripts for the show as well as helped with rewrites and revisions.

Dan Griffin graduated from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies.
