Lorie Bishop

Lorie Bishop has extensive work experience in a variety of roles and positions. Lorie currently serves as the Laboratory Director at LGC ASSURE since January 2019. Prior to this, they held the position of Head Of Laboratory at LGC from February 2017 to January 2019. Lorie also worked as a Laboratory Manager at LGC from November 2011 to February 2017. Before joining LGC, Lorie worked as a Principal Scientist at HFL SPORT SCIENCE LIMITED from November 2010 to November 2011. Lorie also served as the Chemical Laboratory Supervisor at Ohio Department of Agriculture Analytical Toxicology Lab from October 2005 to October 2010. Lorie gained experience as a Research Associate at Ohio State University Analytical Toxicology Lab from February 2003 to September 2005. Lorie started their career as a Criminalist at Columbus Police Crime Lab from July 2000 to February 2003 and as a Forensic Toxicologist at the Institute of Forensic Science from June 1999 to June 2000.

Lorie Bishop completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Chemistry from Ohio University from 1995 to 1999. Lorie then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Ball State University's Miller College of Business from 2018 to 2022.
