VP Of Development DFW at LGI Homes

Elaine Torres has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Starting in 1990, they worked as a Consultant at PQ Systems Inc., where they played a key role in developing the product training system, Total Quality Transformation. Elaine also trained improvement teams and conducted Train-the-Trainer seminars. From 1993 to 1995, they worked as an Independent Consultant at Partners in Profound Knowledge, working with clients in various industries to apply quality management tools and processes.

In 1997, they started their own company called RE Investments LLC, where they acquired distressed residential homes to update and sell. Elaine completed six projects in two years. From 1998 to 2001, they partnered with Cochran Torres Capital Group, an investment partnership specializing in building new homes and purchasing distressed properties. Elaine managed all aspects of projects and business management.

In 2003, Elaine joined Braewood Companies as the Chief Operating Officer, responsible for every aspect of business operations, including project planning, accounting, job costs monitoring, and office management. Elaine also created financing packages to obtain financing for real estate projects. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as the Corporate Team Leader at Wingspan Portfolio Advisors.

In 2013, they joined BG Staffing/InStaff as a Consultant before moving to Lennar in 2014. At Lennar, they served as a Project Manager Land Development, responsible for managing land development projects, coordinating hardscape/landscape design, and ensuring City acceptance. Elaine worked there until 2017 when they moved to LGI Homes as the VP of Development DFW.

Elaine Torres has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, with a focus on Public Relations, from The University of Texas at Austin. Elaine also possesses a Master's degree from the University of Miami's MBA School of Business, with a concentration in Business.
