Andreas Blind

Andreas Blind has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Andreas began their career at Daimler Truck AG where they worked as a Lean Management Consultant, leading numerous continuous improvement projects both locally and internationally. Andreas also underwent a year-long Lean Management training program during their time at Daimler. Andreas then joined Mercedes-Benz AG as a Senior Consultant and Trainer for Lean Management, where they implemented Lean practices and conducted training sessions. Andreas later transitioned to the Einkauf Sitze und Kooperationsprojekte, Lieferantenqualität role, where they were responsible for purchasing vehicle components and ensuring quality standards. Andreas also had internships at Daimler Truck AG and L'Oréal, and completed a diploma thesis at AUDI AG. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Lean Management and Quality at LGI Logistics Group International GmbH, where they oversee and implements Lean initiatives, manages quality management programs, and leads process improvement projects.

Andreas Blind attended Gymnasium Gaildorf from 1991 to 2000, where they obtained their Abitur. Andreas then pursued their higher education at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 2001 to 2006, earning a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen. In 2003, Andreas studied abroad at Western University in Canada, specializing in Industrial Engineering and Economics. In 2009-2010, they attended Reutlingen University as a Lean Management Consultant, acquiring further expertise in that field.
