Michael Fischer

VP, Integrative Design Team at LHB

Michael brings together the talents of architects, landscape architects, planners, interior designers, and engineers into a studio-based culture to create regenerative communities using a research-based design approach. He specializes in strategic planning, city planning, real estate development, and Tax Increment Finance analysis.

Michael received his Bachelor of Architecture from North Dakota State University and earned dual master’s degrees in city planning and real estate development with an emphasis in urban design from MIT.

Michael has the distinction of serving on multiple planning commissions and city councils in different states. He has served on more than 50 committees, boards and community task forces, including a term as a City Council President and as Chair of a Metropolitan Planning Organization. Most recently, he served as a member of the Edina City Council, and Secretary of the Edina Housing and Redevelopment Authority.
