Cynthia Pearman M.D. Faafp Faahpm Hmdc

Cynthia Pearman, MD FAAFP FAAHPM HMDC, serves as the Medical Director for UT Hospice/LHC since May 2016, focusing on in-home hospice and palliative care in the greater Knoxville area. Previously, Cynthia owned and directed Pearman Senior Care, providing comprehensive medical care for seniors from January 2014 to February 2016. Cynthia has extensive academic experience as an Assistant Professor in family medicine at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and Moses Cone Health System, where teaching responsibilities included supervising residents and medical students. Early career roles included positions in family medicine and women's health clinics, as well as recognition for teaching excellence. Cynthia earned a Doctor of Medicine degree with high honors from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center and a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Zoology and Cell Biology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
