Scott Hoenecke

Scott Hoenecke is an experienced Plant Manager at Li-Cycle since March 2022, previously serving as General Manager and Operations Manager at The Doe Run Company from July 2019 to March 2022. Prior to that, Scott held the position of Operations Manager at American Zinc Products from October 2012 to July 2019, overseeing a 250-person operations group across various facility operations. As Manager of Process at Newmont Mining Corporation from August 2011 to September 2012, Scott focused on copper hydrometallurgy for new projects. Earlier in their career, Scott was the Chief Metallurgist and Superintendent, as well as Chief Engineer at Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. Scott Hoenecke holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, earned between 1997 and 2002.
