Emily Hawley is a seasoned communications professional with experience in writing and public relations. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist and Writer at Liberty Counsel since September 2023, Emily previously held the role of Press Secretary for Rep. Jeff Duncan (SC-03) in the U.S. House of Representatives from August 2021 to August 2023. Prior to that, Emily worked as a Staff Reporter at The Christian Post, producing daily AP-style news and feature stories. Additional experience includes a position as a Confidential Assistant in the Executive Office of the President during the Trump Administration, editorial roles at The Liberty Champion Newspaper, and internships with U.S. Senators Tim Scott and Lindsey Graham. Emily holds a degree in Journalism from Liberty University, where attendance spanned from 2017 to 2020.
