Gary Butler

Gary Butler has over 17 years of experience in the oilfield and service industries, currently serving as an Equipment Operator and Field Safety Representative at Liberty Oilfield Services since October 2015. Responsibilities include maintaining a safety mindset for a 70-person frac crew, conducting safety talks, training employees, and performing incident investigations. Prior to this, Gary held the position of Service Supervisor at Halliburton, where planning and coordinating operations at well sites were key duties. Additional experience includes roles as Operations Manager at The TJX Companies, Store Manager at U-Haul International, and ownership of Box Canyon Outfitters. Gary’s background also includes welding at Genie, with early experience as a Snowmobile Tour Guide. Educationally, Gary graduated from Shelley High School with focuses in general education, auto mechanics, and welding.
