Awais Ahmad

Awais Ahmad has extensive experience in cloud strategy and architecture, currently serving as the Director of Cloud Strategy, Architecture & Transformation at Liberty Global since December 2016. In this role, Awais leads a transformative initiative focused on centralized cloud architecture and strategy, establishing a Cloud Centre of Excellence to enhance knowledge sharing and best practices. Prior to this position, Awais held various titles at Virgin Media from October 2005 to November 2016, including Director of Cloud Strategy and Director of Data Centre Technologies. Awais began the career at Ntl:Telewest and also worked at POL Ltd and Systems Research Pvt Ltd. Awais holds a Master of Science in Computer Sciences from Preston University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences from the National College of Computer Sciences in Pakistan.
