Xolani Makhubele

Xolani Makhubele is a Senior Specialist in Data Analytics & Leads Model Design at Liberty Group South Africa. Prior to this, Xolani worked as a Data Scientist in Customer Analytics & Insights at Telkom, where tasks included building Power BI dashboards, predictive churn modeling, and customer segmentation. Xolani also served as a Pricing Actuarial Analyst at Old Mutual Insure, focusing on short-term pricing and book performance tracking. In addition, Xolani has experience as a Reserving Actuarial Analyst at Hollard Insurance, working on short-term reserving and valuations. Xolani has a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science and Mathematical Statistics, as well as ongoing Honours studies in Actuarial Science at the University of the Witwatersrand.
