Mark McAvoy

Mark McAvoy is an experienced public administrator currently serving as the City Administrator for the City of Liberty Lake since August 2022, where responsibilities include acting as the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Economic Development Officer. Prior to this role, McAvoy was the Director of Planning & Data Analytics for the City of Fort Worth, focusing on comprehensive planning and performance management. McAvoy also held the position of Assistant City Manager in Rowlett and served as Executive Director and various management roles within the Building and Development Services Division of the City of Houston. McAvoy's earlier career includes service as a Senior Airman in the United States Air Force. McAvoy holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Washington Tacoma.
