Douglas Schrift

Underwriting Officer for Liberty Mutual Surety’s Subcontractor Default Insurance (SDI) operations. He joined Liberty Mutual in 2019 and is responsible for the development and execution of Liberty Mutual’s SDI program. Prior to this role, Douglas served as Managing Director for Aon Construction Services Group’s SDI practice, which provides general contractors with subcontractor risk avoidance techniques and default loss mitigation solutions. Before Aon, he was Vice President and Director of Risk Finance for Lend Lease Americas, the legacy operation of Bovis Lend Lease. Douglas has more than 20 years of experience in the construction risk space, with particular specialty in areas of SDI, subcontractor operational/financial controls, and subcontractor performance.
