James Gama

James Gama, CSP, currently serves as Regional Manager of Risk Control Services at Liberty Mutual Insurance since March 2024. Prior to this role, Gama held the position of AVP Loss Control at CopperPoint Insurance Companies from April 2021 to February 2024. Gama's extensive experience in risk control includes positions as Manager of Loss Control Services and Executive Risk Management Consultant at Berkley North Pacific Group from 2017 to 2021, as well as various roles at Chubb from 1996 to 2017, including Senior Property & Casualty Risk Engineer III and Supervisor of Loss Control Services. Earlier in the career, Gama worked as a Loss Control Representative at both Ohio Casualty Insurance and Chubb Group of Insurance Companies from 1991 to 1996. Gama earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology/Management from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo between 1987 and 1991.
