Jose Ochoa Mendez

Jose Ochoa Mendez has extensive experience in internal audit and compliance, currently serving as Senior Manager of Internal Audit and SOX at Liberty of Puerto Rico since June 2019. Previous roles include Manager and Associate Manager in Internal Audit and SOX at the same company, as well as Internal Auditor at Triple-S and Claro Puerto Rico, where responsibilities included conducting audits across various departments. Jose's earlier experience includes positions as an Auditor at Kevane Grant Thornton, where audit consulting for prominent clients was a primary focus, and as an Experienced Consultant Associate at C International Business Group working on SOX testing. Jose began the career as a Staff Auditor at HLB Morales Padillo & Co and completed a Corporate Tax Internship at PwC. Education was attained from Universidad de Puerto Rico, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
