Lorraine Rivera Torres has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Lorraine began their career as a Quality Engineer COOP at Stryker and later worked as a Manufacturing/Quality Engineer COOP at the same company. Lorraine gained experience in process improvement and project management during their time at Abbott Vascular and GE Healthcare. Lorraine also worked as an intern at Abbott Laboratories, where they focused on planning systems and data support. Lorraine then transitioned to a role as a Teacher Assistant at the University of Puerto Rico. Lorraine joined Xtrategit as a Consultant, where they developed metrics and supervised a call center. Lorraine later joined Popular, where they held various roles such as Business Analyst, Industrial Engineer, and Performance & Process Management-Senior Business Analyst. In these positions, they led diverse projects, implemented process improvements, and achieved significant cost savings. Most recently, Lorraine worked at Liberty of Puerto Rico as a CX Senior Manager and is currently serving as the Director of Customer Experience.

Lorraine Rivera Torres has a diverse education history. From 2005 to 2011, they attended the Universidad de Puerto Rico- Mayaguez Campus, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering. In 2018, they enrolled at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and completed an Executive Global Masters in Management program, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Throughout their academic journey, Lorraine also obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2016, they earned a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) certification from X6Sigma, and in 2019, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) certification, also from X6Sigma. Additionally, Lorraine holds an Engineer In Training certification from the CIAPR Colegio de Ingenieros y Agrimensores de Puerto Rico; however, specific details regarding the month and year of its attainment are not available.
