Jon Lyons

Jon Lyons has a strong background in manufacturing and operations management. Jon currently holds the position of Vice President of Manufacturing at Liberty Safe since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the President of Jordan River Contracting Co. from February 2021 to April 2023. Before that, Jon worked as a Plant Manager at Alpha Packaging from February 2018 to August 2020 and at Knauf Insulation from January 2014 to February 2018. Jon also held the role of Vice President of Operations at Heat Transfer Products from January 2009 to November 2013. Jon gained extensive experience at Berry Plastics, where they held various roles including Regional Plant Manager, Director of Quality, and Director of Operations from June 2003 to January 2009. Jon started their career at Tyco Telecommunications, known as TE SubCom, where they held the positions of General Manager and Director of Engineering and Manufacturing from December 2000 to May 2003 and from April 1995 to December 2000, respectively. Jon began their career as a Member of the Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories from September 1985 to April 1995.

Jon Lyons earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Statistics from Brigham Young University, which they attended from 1981 to 1984. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Statistics from Brigham Young University from 1984 to 1985.
