Andy Margesson

Andy Margesson has extensive experience in data privacy and management analysis, currently serving as a Product Analyst for Records Management at Liberty Specialty Markets since January 2023, while also directing The Privacy Lab, which focuses on data protection assessments for organizations. Previous roles include Data Privacy Specialist at Ingka Centres, Senior Business Analyst at Equifax and Hiscox, and Information Assurance Lead at the Ministry of Justice UK. Andy has a strong background in GDPR compliance, having worked as a GDPR consultant for Thomas Miller and Lloyd's, and has played key roles in various initiatives to assess and ensure data protection standards across different sectors. A solid foundation in business analytics is also evident from a long tenure at IBM, where significant contributions were made to process improvements and governance frameworks. Andy holds an HND in Material Science and Polymer Technology from Wiltshire College.
