Brent Turner

Brent Turner is the current President & CEO at Liberty Tax. Brent has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Turner started their career in 1998 as an Assistant Vice President at Ace Cash Express. In 2003, they left Ace Cash Express to start Specialty Consumer Services, a company that provided check cashing and short-term loan services. Brent ran Specialty Consumer Services for 4 years before joining Liberty Tax in 2012.

At Liberty Tax, Turner was responsible for developing the eCommerce channel and managing the Risk and Product teams. Brent also created programs and initiatives to ensure underwriting and acquisition efforts maximized financial performance. In 2016, Turner was promoted to EVP Head of Consumer Lending at MetaBank.

In 2018, Turner returned to Liberty Tax as President & CEO. Under their leadership, Liberty Tax has continued to grow and expand its services.

Brent Turner has an MBA from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business, a BA in Finance from West Texas A&M University, and a master's in business administration from Amarillo College.
