Alan Good

Alan Good is an experienced field hockey coach and educator with a diverse background in sports coaching and journalism. Currently serving as the Assistant Field Hockey Coach at Liberty University since January 2020, Alan has played a significant role in coaching a top 15 NCAA team. Concurrently, as a Coach Educator for USA Field Hockey, Alan delivers national coaching courses and contributes to Olympic development programs. As the Founder and Co-Owner of Southern Fried Hockey, a successful field hockey camp in Ireland, Alan has built a notable presence in the sports community. Previous roles also include Coaching Director at Focus Field Hockey, Varsity Head Coach at The Covenant School, and regional coaching for Munster Hockey. Alan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University College Cork and multiple coaching qualifications from USA Field Hockey and Hockey Ireland.
