Andrew Nichols

Andrew Nichols, CPA, CA, CPA (Illinois), CFA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Andrew started their career at KPMG Canada as a Senior Accountant, where their responsibilities included conducting financial statement audits, analyzing complex accounting issues, and mentoring junior staff members. Later, they joined Cohen Hamilton Steger & Co. Inc. as an Associate, specializing in quantifying economic damages for commercial litigation and conducting business valuations. Currently, Andrew is working at Liberty, where they have progressed through various roles, including Senior Analyst in Corporate Development, Manager and Senior Manager in Financial Planning and Analysis, and most recently as the Director of Finance and Administration.

Andrew Nichols, CPA, CA, CPA (Illinois), CFA completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from Saint Mary's University from 2011 to 2014. Andrew obtained their Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) designation in 2016 from Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario) and became a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) in 2019 from the CFA Institute. Andrew also holds the additional certifications of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the AICPA, which they obtained in 2023, and Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) (inactive) from The Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators, which they obtained in 2018.
