Kim van Den Heuvel

Kim van den Heuvel, PEng, is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Since January 2016, Kim has served as the Director of Project Development at Liberty, overseeing key development activities for wind, solar, and energy storage projects. Kim is also a co-founder of WBDConnects, an initiative aimed at empowering women in business development within the company. Previously, Kim held various roles at Liberty, including Director of Project Engineering and Senior Engineering Manager, where leadership led to the successful generation of significant renewable energy capacities. Earlier career experience includes positions at CIMA+, Hydro One, and ABB, with a background in electrical engineering and team management. Kim holds a Bachelor of Engineering Physics from McMaster University.
